Why choose aromatherapy to fight stress?
Stress is our body's reaction to aggression.
It alters our psycho-physiological balance, which can lead to certain disorders such as muscular tension, stomach problems, sleep disorders, excessive sweating, aggressiveness, low morale and even anxiety and fear....
There are many ways to manage stress such as therapy, sport, meditation, breathing, to each his own method but there are also precious allies...essential oils 🌱
Co-created with Lison, I'm a survivor is inspired by this issue and responds with a comforting anti-stress balm.
How does it work? Thanks to the virtues of aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic oils that act directly on the vegetative nervous system (linked to uncontrolled body movements).
Aromatic plants contain odorant molecules that are extracted in the form of essential oils. When captured by our nervous system, these molecules act on disorders such as anxiety or stress.
They are recognized for their calming, soothing and stimulating properties. What's more, certain scents transmit information to the brain, triggering physiological reactions and the release of hormones such as adrenalin, dopamine (the pleasure hormone) or serotonin (the happiness hormone).
The olfactory pathway then becomes a good way of acting as soon as the first signs of psychological disorders are felt, and can thus help limit their effects.
With I'm a survivor, Lison wanted to be able to act on her stress through scent, while at the same time having a formula that was gentle on the skin and comforting.
A real cuddly toy to take everywhere with you.
