What is the heavy legs effect?
Heavy legs are associated with venous insufficiency. Particularly in summer, when temperatures rise, veins dilate and the valves that prevent blood from flowing downwards under the effect of gravity malfunction. As a result, venous return to the heart is no longer guaranteed, and blood stagnates in the legs. They feel heavy, swell up and... ouch, they hurt! Many factors can also aggravate this phenomenon, such as smoking, hormones, a sedentary lifestyle, excess weight or simply heredity, so be careful!
To alleviate the problem of heavy legs, we often recommend cool water footbaths and clothes that aren't too tight... But when it happens in the workplace, these tips aren't necessarily the most useful. And Elsie knows all about it: constantly on her feet at work, she suffers from painful oedema on a daily basis. So she came up with the idea of a treatment to complement her compression stockings. Together, we called it LEG IT GO (did you catch the pun? ) Its real plus: a fresh, soothing effect and circulation-boosting active ingredients combined with moisturizing properties. Gone is the sticky, drying feel of gels on the market.
