It is most often found in deodorants, toothpastes, hand cleansing gels, mouthwashes and intimate hygiene products. Suspected of being an endocrine disruptor, it would act on the estrogen hormones, but also on the thyroid function. The European Union has classified it as a skin and eye irritant, and qualifies it as highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
Obviously, it will have no place in our formulations 🙅
