Clean transition for hair: how to go about it?
New year rhymes with good resolutions. Here are 7 of them to take better care of your hair:
-
Going to the hairdresser: cutting off split ends and damaged tips is essential to take care of your mane and prevent them from spreading further along the length of your hair.
- Carry out a clarification. For a real reset, we advise you to proceed first to a clarification (for example with green clay) which allows to eliminate the remainder of the silicone products and toxins present on your hair.
- To wash the hair with a soft shampoo and with tepid water: Just the time to finish its bottle of conventional product (one does not waste) and one passes to the shampoo and soft care, without sulphates nor silicones. For the frequency: Every two days to once a week, according to the nature of your hair ;) And one avoids the too hot water which can attack the scalp and the too cold water, which will not allow an effective rinsing.
-
Massaging the scal p: During the washing/care stage, take the opportunity to massage your scalp with your fingertips. This helps to boost circulation and better remove impurities and/or dandruff. Be careful, no friction but softness!
- Apply a suitable treatment: Conditioner or mask is an ally not to be forgotten. In addition to helping detangle, it will help restructure the hair fiber. It will also nourish and repair hair weakened by heat, pollution, bleaching, sun or simply by time.
👉 Hair yeah, our anti-limescale moisturizer helps maintain hair moisture throughout the day. It will also help protect and repair it , sealing the fiber.
7. Avoid heat: If you're a fan of blow-drying or straightening, you can try alternatives that will sensitize your hair less, such as coiling techniques, kardoune or protective styles.
✅ What else to remember when switching to a cleaner routine:
You probably won't recognize your hair for a few weeks and that's normal! The "chemical" treatments that we are used to applying to our hair often mask the true nature of our hair.
When we remove silicones from our routine, it's like revealing what's underneath. We rediscover our true hair nature.
It can take a long time for your hair to readjust and regain its vitality. So don't panic if the first few days of your transition your hair is a little dryer or harder to detangle. It's worth it, I promise!
