Long live the boobs
Apples, pears, peaches, lemons... No, we're not talking about the latest fashionable food recipe on social networks, but about breasts.
These days, women's breasts are as important as they are divisive. So strap on your bra (or not) and get ready for a well-deserved rant and ode to our pretty tits!
They're round, bell-shaped, thin, asymmetrical, big, small... and above all, unique. There are as many breasts as there are women. And that's the beauty of them!
Except that "Houston, we have a (BIG) problem"... These breasts don't please everyone, or they please a little too much. So it's decided: we're going to bare our breasts and proudly proclaim what's on our minds:
To the social networks that hate and censor our pretty nipples (yes, even in an artistic or medical context, it's totally crazy, isn't it?),
To those who criticize the no-bra and think that women should always wear a bra for reasons of decency,
To all those who sexualize and stigmatize this part of the body,
To society, which imposes aesthetic pressure on the size and shape of our breasts,
To the looks and criticism directed at women who breastfeed in public,
Leave us in peace.
Breasts are not only beautiful, they're also super-useful. In addition to their role in hormone regulation and lactation, our breasts are our symbol. Like what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris, or the baguette is to France. And we're proud of them!
So let's celebrate them. Let's cherish them. Protect them. Understand them. This pink October, but also all year round, because they deserve all your attention and affection.
And a word to the wise: don't wait for Saint (breast) Glinglin's Day to adopt the right self-palpation and mammography techniques!
