The invisible pains - Bloom #29
Evaluated on a scale of 1 to 10, pain manifests itself as an unpleasant feeling in our body or a painful feeling linked to moral suffering.
Everyone knows that. Okay...
But under the pretext that it is nothing, that it is not so serious, or even that you would dare to complain a little too much, some pains are erased with a backhand of the sleeve and put under silence .
Because they are not marked with a scar or a bandage, because they are considered futile, exaggerated or even supported by a diagnosis that accuses "female hysteria" these sufferings are trivialized or totally ignored.
Then, by instinct of survival, one tries to camouflage them, to bury them. We kill them, because it is too painful to talk about them or because we are afraid of being judged.
And yet!
NO it is not normal to have pain during or before your period.
NO, it is not normal to be put aside once menopausal.
NO, it is not normal to get stuck in psychological knots.
NO, it is not normal to think that because it is a life choice, it cannot be painful.
To make visible these invisible pains, it is necessary to hear them, understand them and recognize them.
Voices are raised to learn, in a way, to live with them and to try to heal them, or at least to put words on them to give resources to those who live them.
These pains that we do not see, it is the subject that we approach during 4 meetings in our podcast Pluriel Singulier.
