Tattoos 🌞
As soon as I said the word "tattoo" at the family dinner table, everyone had something to say.
I had just explained to them that I wanted to get a double dorje vajra tattoo, showing them some design ideas.
Remarks came from all sides:
"in 2 years you'll regret it"
"when you're old and wrinkled it'll look like nothing"
"it's vulgar"
"Oh no, you're not going to do that as a drawing, it doesn't look like anything".
"Did you talk to your boyfriend about it? Doesn't it bother him?
"You have convictions now, but in the future you won't have the same ones".
"It's a stain at work.
For the moment I don't know when I'll do it, but I do know that my body is as much mine as my decision to do it, whether some people like it or not.
