I love you - Bloom #22
-Yes?
I love you
They're out. This is it. It's impossible to turn back time, even by a few seconds.
Your heart is pounding, drops of stress are still palpable on your forehead and your eyes are hesitant.
But the relief is there, automatically evacuated by a clear breath.
Why did it look so hard? In the end, it doesn't really.
Maybe because saying those two words is like opening the door to your intimacy. Yours, now revealed. Maybe also because nowadays to get naked is sometimes easier than to get naked. Maybe because this expression, now almost sacred, is attached to the rank of commitment. However, when you think about it, saying I love you is simply saying "right now, today, you are the person who makes me feel good" (as @solangeteparle says very well). Mom, Dad, my brothers and sisters, my love, my friends, Grandma, Uncle, Auntie and you there, whom I don't know so well after all: I love you. I care about you. You are so precious to me. Thank you for existing.
It's brave but, you'll see: "far from being damaged clichés, let's make our declarations points of impact in our trajectories. Let's page our love, let's write it down, before the backwash erases our audacity"(@philosophyissexy).
