I'm bored! Bloom #20
For a few weeks now, we have been experiencing something unprecedented, something never seen before, which marks history and digs the concave shape of our sofa with the trace of our buttocks.
The more positive among us didn't let it get us down easily by saying a firm no to the blues: Skype drinks to say hi to buddies, post-lunch calls to grandma to talk about the good weather, a sweat session on Instagram with a string of video lessons, and a plethora of occupations that all ultimately have one goal: to keep us busy.
Today the trend is to escape from boredom. That big E with two horns that scares us so much.
This virus from within.
So rather than continue to inundate you with ideas to pass the time, we're taking things in stride by reminding you to embrace the time.
Don't read, don't watch a series, don't clean, don't take out the mandala you've never opened since it was given to you to try a coloring adventure, don't write, don't change the joints in your shower, don't sand the floor, don't pretend you're Cyril Lignac, don't shop, don't run, don't get busy. At least not right away.
Try, if only for a moment, to accept that you are bored. Be bored! Lie down on your bed, or on your couch, and close your eyes. Or open your eyes wide and look out the window and see what the outside world has to offer.
In a daily life all connected king of over-solicitation, we are not used to be with our thoughts. This is a great opportunity to explore our creativity!
