Of course, it is part of your intimate area, but it is not taboo to talk about it and to take care of it: half of the people on this planet have a vulva...

The vulva consists of all the external female genitalia—that is, everything that’s visible: the labia minora and labia majora, the clitoris, as well as the perineum and the entrance to the vagina. While some women feel self-conscious about the appearance of their vulva—thanks to adult films—know that in reality, there are as many types of vulvas as there are women: small, large, flat, plump, dark… So there’s no such thing as a “normal” vulva—or not!

What is not normal, however, is an itchy, scratchy, burning, irritated or red vulva. These are signs of an imbalance in your vaginal flora. The cause? Clothes that are too tight, a hormonal change, the pill, overly aggressive hygiene, total body hair removal, sweating.
